macinapepe › is a pepper mill that aims to expand the concept of the traditional mill in both function and form. the mill is cast from aluminum, giving it a distinctive surface texture and pleasant tactile properties. a precise ball bearing between the two parts, along with the cnc-machined and hardened grinding mechanism, ensures smooth and efficient use. in its design language, the mill incorporates archetypal elements of a pepper mill, such as the rotating spheres and the funnel-shaped top, and stylizes them. this design thus reflects the mill's function.

full metal › the furniture series is inspired by the supporting structures of mundane architecture. sideboard, shelf and tables — made of powder-coated steel — are easy to dismantle, but still convince with the sophistication of the detail.

volt › due to interlocking rings, the desk lamp defies gravity even in a wide-open position and offers the possibility of a constant horizontal alignment through defined angles. the mechanism creates a special haptic and acoustic appeal.

bianco › the bianco table series — inspired by the tin toy product of the 19th century — was produced using the tube laser process. this contemporary production technique enables contours and cut edges that would otherwise be almost impossible to achieve. the components of the tables are only connected by bent-over tabs, screws or welds are therefore not necessary.

tara › a balancing act. a cause-effect relationship. a head, a counterweight, another counterweight. tara is a telescopic light source that stays in position wherever you want it to. when extending the lamps head, a  counterweight travels into the opposite direction, always keeping the centre of mass at the correct spot. since the counterweight travels on its own rail, the lamp only extends in one direction — making it space efficient in tight desk situations. in collaboration with simon schmitz.

halo › with its light source embedded in the base, halo is a different take on the classic table or floor lamp. the light is parallelized through an array of lenses and allowed to reflect between mirrors attached to the joints of the arm. a mechanism in each joint ensures a correct angle of reflection, regardless of the arms position. yet at certain angles, slivers of light may be allowed to escape, creating halo-like projections within the space.

sole › this folding table, which by means of a special mechanism, can be brought into position in only one movement. the construction does not require additional fixation, as it is self-stabilizing. when folded, the table is only 1 inch thin.

brut › in an aesthetic way, the vessels show the ambivalence between an apparently external force and the function of cohesion. the cut-outs of the diagonally crossing elements are worked at right angles into the material. the resulting gaps become an elementary design element.

kasbah › the process results in the form, whose archetypal appearance, mass and statics, rhythm and proportion are negotiated.

shells › an aesthetic adaptation of architectural supporting structures in the form of a series of vessels.

younit › an experimental concept for the use of unused resources. leftovers from the cutting of sheet material are assembled into chairs thanks to a specific construction without prior knowledge or other tools. the materials of the unique pieces — some of which have the most contradictory associations — are intended to polarise and question the qualitative and monetary value attached to the various materials.

et cetera › various works from the past years
